The van was built with the idea of all the materials being as responsibly sourced as possible, with an emphasis on quality. All of the wood is FSC certified, the insulation is made from high-spec 3M thinsulate recycled plastics, the floor tiles are made from Marmoleum using natural raw materials, sustainably sourced cork, etc. The kitchen sink and faucet are imported from Europe. Attention to detail is the name of the game.
The mileage on the van is all highway miles and was on the original wheels/tires. The bulk of the mileage was put on it while getting the custom seats fitted in LA, picking up parts and materials from businesses in Marin and Sonoma, and that’s it. The BF Goodrich KO2’s were put on less than 300 miles ago.
